Munster: The Transport Network of Germany’s elegant state


Munster, an independent state of Germany, is located in the northern part of the Rhine-Westphalia. This city is famous as a cultural center of Westphalia region and the capital of local government in Munsterland. Today, it is known as a bicycling capital of Germany and a fast-growing city with over 300,000 inhabitants. To get into the city, there are abundant options as Munster is well connected to the rest of Germany. Deutsche Bahn is the major source of connectivity of Munster to the whole country. Air traveling in Munster is doing by Dusseldorf Flughafen Airport which is 1 hour and 20 minutes far from Munster train. After few years, another airport Munster-Osnabruck Airport which was 30 minutes far from the city, has grown significantly and became the leading airport of the country.
